Overview

Having won the competitive tender Jennings were appointed to carry out the demolition works package on Vinci construction UK high profile 97 million pound west campus residency scheme at Hull university. The project was set a tight programme and the works required to be delivered on time to ensure Vinci’s project timescales were met for the remainder of the scheme .We supplied extra plant and operatives then made use of every available minute to ensure the works were delivered on time. The demolition phase was delivered on time, budget and safely bringing in repeat business from a satisfied client. Jennings removed and disposed of asbestos containing materials from the building demolished a high rise education block cleared the arising’s and constructed a piling mat for the next phase of construction. All of the works were carried out inside of a live university environment and the works ran problem free. This was made possible by utilising our own latest equipment such as dust suppression units to ensure the demolition is clean tidy and caused no disruptions to the environment or university.
