Since 1958, Jennings has provided formwork services to construction companies and property developers. Formwork is the process of creating moulds into which concrete, or another engineering material, is poured. We specialise in building formwork from steel and timber, which is the traditional way to go about it.
Formwork can be made from timber, plastic, steel or any other material that meets the specifications required for the pouring material. Formwork is used to cast and construct the main parts of a building, such as staircases and access points. We also do ‘shuttering’ which is where plywood is used for the formwork.
We mainly work with construction companies who use our formwork services alongside their own expertise. Our experience handling formwork projects means we work efficiently and can build formwork to any specification.
Jennings has over 50 years’ experience conducting formwork. We can calculate formwork at the earliest stages of a project and plan everything. Whether you have your own specifications or need these creating from scratch, we have the expertise to provide formwork services that meet your engineering requirements.
We are a demolition company at heart with significant engineering experience. We can design and build formwork from a variety of materials. We also design and build stay in place systems and flexible formwork. Our services are often utilised alongside our demolition services by clients who want a single contractor.
We can provide permanent or temporary solutions depending on your requirements. Foundation formwork is often permanent. We can utilise modular panels to build walls and structures that meet virtually any design specification.
