Demolition Waste Recycling

Our demolition waste recycling service ensures that demolition waste doesn’t enter landfill and can be reused where possible.

Demolition Waste Recycling

Since 1958, Jennings has been ahead of the curve when it comes to demolition waste recycling. For example, when other companies were sending used concrete to landfill in the 70s, we were processing it so it could be reused in construction projects.

We see recycling as a core environmental obligation. Demolition projects produce a significant amount of waste. Much of this waste is reusable with processing. For example, stone can be crushed to make aggregates and plastic waste can be recycled to make bottles. Waste is only wasted when it is sent to landfill.

Our service includes on-site crushing for aggregates, sorting and sending to recycling centres for processing.

Why choose Jennings?

Jennings has over 50 years’ experience managing demolition projects. We provide a complete demolition waste recycling service. The materials produced during demolition will be processed on and offsite by our experienced team.

Much of the waste produced during demolition can be processed and used as a recycled aggregate. Stone, mortar, concrete and building materials are good examples. Timber can also be recycled and used in MDF and plywood. Plastics can be collected and sent to a local recycling centre so the plastics can be used once again.

Recycling is the natural by-product of clearing a demolition site but not all demolition companies invest time and effort into the process. We recognise our environmental impact and promise to do our bit to make the world a better place.
